River Section Description

This section of the canyon opens up a bit more and has a dryer, desert like quality to it,the further downstream you head. It continues to cut through cuts the red sandstone formations in the area, and has many nice holes, riffles and runs. Look for ?pour-over holes?, where the direction of the flow changes across the stream in small drops. There is also a Preserve area that has been set aside for perpetuity and it has some nice water in it..
