River Section Description

Fish upstream from the bridge, through the big rocks section and hike out at Beaver Lake. OR Drop down from Beaver lake and fish up or downstream. Upstream to the Dam. OR You can take the road down to the dam and then take a trail down to the river, or drop down from the Silverjack Overlook area to the stilling basin and the Cimarron River for fun pocket water fishing for Rainbow trout.

Suggested Patterns

Drys: Wulffs, Humpies, Stimulators, Caddis, Trudes, basically any attractor dry fly. Try the Dry Dropper and Bead Head Nymph system. Nymphs: #14-16 Prince, Pheasant Tail, Copper John, GR Hare's ear, Half back, Pulsating Caddis,
